Level 3 Unit 2 Proposal for CD Packaging

Pros and Cons of different forms of advertising.

Print
Pros - Can be any size (billboards) / relatively cheap to make / can include samples / if they are 'cool' they may be cut out and stuck onto bedroom walls
Cons - image and text is still and may not gain attention / could be graffitied, ripped or defaced.

Audio / Visual

Pros - can be aimed at a particular audience (DFS in 'Corrie' / Nintendo in 'Zeke and Luther') / can expand on ideas and characters
Cons - Expensive / can be Sky+ and ads fast-forwarded

New Digital Media
Pros - Lots of links to other info / Interactivity / cheapest for user / possibility of the campaign going viral
Cons - Large section of the audience may miss out due to no web or smartphone / audience learn to ignore web ads as being a pain / audiences have to go to a website rather than have the ad presented to them
